Best Way To Get Rid Of Pimples – Revealed

Latest: we’ve come across an exciting new solution for people looking for the best way to get rid of pimples.

After 7 years of clinical experiments, medical researcher and certified nutritionist Mike Walden has assembled a program which may, from the evidence – wait for it – drum roll – prove to actually BE the best way to get rid of pimples.

According to Mike, (himself  formerly an intense sufferer of acne), he has successfully helped thousands of people achieve “the best skin they have ever had” (even if they had very severe acne).

Looking at his website, he does seem to have a lot of pretty detailed positive testimonials and before/after pictures to back up his claims.

And as you’ll see, some of the “before” pictures aren’t pretty!

Whether it’s the supreme and absolute all-time best way to get rid of pimples, I can’t completely judge, but it looks like it’s “up there.”

Mike claims that his solution will work for you if you suffer from any of the following:

  • Oily complexion with big open pores.
  • Peeling and itching caused by medications, chemicals, etc
  • All types of pimples, blackheads and acne either on back, shoulders, chest or face.
  • Confidence, self esteem issues, obsessiveness about the situation, etc
  • Wasting a lot of money on remedies that don’t seem to work.

The message is: don’t give up hope. If you’ve suffered from pimples, acne, blackheads, whiteheads, etc, based on the evidence Mike presents, there may well be a lot of light at the end of the tunnel.

Taking a few sneak peeks into some of the highlights of Mike’s program we find the following:

  • Ability to eliminate “breakouts” and see clear results within a week – good news if true, because with a thing like this, it’s all about visible progress.
  • Permanent (lifetime) cure within 8 weeks – if that proves to be the case, there’s going to be a lot of long-term relief happening out there.
  • Step by step “no-brainer” guides with illustrations, etc.
  • Elimination of many/most types of scars, pockmarks.
  • No drugs, medications, ointments, creams, etc -  expenses most of us would prefer to avoid, particularly if the results aren’t there or are mixed.

Anyway, that’s some of the info for you.

Be sure to check out Mike’s program and by all means drop on back here and post your feedback about it. It’d be useful for other readers and I’d love to hear how it goes for you.

Wishing you every success with this,

Affred (my dumb nickname)

The Worst Way To Get Rid Of Pimples?

2011
10.02

So, coming down to it, what’s the best way to get rid of pimples / acne, etc?

Well, for a start, we had better rule out the ways we use which DON’T work; one obvious thing to do would be to avoid or stop using products or methods which may very likely leave you with a worse skin condition than you had to begin with.

That’s the opposite of what you want, yet in fact, it happens all the time to people. We need to understand how the medications we’re using are working, and what they’re actually doing.

Something often overlooked but very important to realize is that many conventionally available medications only work to “control” the symptoms (outer evidence) of the problem; they don’t deal with the real causes – the underlying state of your health, bodily system and other factors, which are actually responsible for the skin disorders you’re experiencing on the surface.

The problem with using medications or surface remedies of this kind is that they basically just “sweep things under the rug” – the underlying trouble is not recognized or handled appropriately, so the symptoms have to keep on “coming back,” in many cases in severer and severer forms.

Quick Fix – Oops, Not Fixed!

Many of us, for example, have used a lot of “quick-fix” “antis” -  antibiotic, anti-inflammatory, anti-bacterial medications (Minocycline, Tetracycline, etc) which do not take the larger picture into account. It has been strongly suggested that steroids, while reducing inflammation, can have toxifying effects on the liver, leading to a “vicious cycle” in skin terms. Many (sometimes very serious) side effects are also associated with other suppressive or extreme medications such as Accutane and Adapalene.

Substances or products applied to the skin surface (cleansers, powders, lotions and gels, etc, often referred to as “topical” remedies) like Benzol Peroxide and Retinoids are, although they produce “results,” in most cases also just quick-fix-under-rug-sweepers.

If You Deal With The Cause, The Symptoms Have To Disappear!

Skin trouble doesn’t just appear out of thin air; it, like anything else, has causes, and if you simply discover and deal with those causes, it goes away – and stays away. This is where the idea ‘holistic” comes in – the idea of looking at (and responding to) the “whole” picture, not just trying to get rid of what’s happening on the surface (the  symptom) because it’s inconvenient.

Ironically, all that many of our unnatural chemical “instant fix” solutions really wind up doing is to make our skin situation “broken” far longer(!) while  what we actually need to do is get back to some simple body and health basics, working on an individual physical-emotional- dietary level to clear up a few inner imbalances.

By understanding, respecting and working with the way our bodies actually do function (rather than ignoring them and trying to bend them to our will, as usual!) we’ll be able to get much better (and lasting) results for our skin (and everything else). But I waffle – more about that later.

Hope this helped a little. Hope to “SPOT” you all soon (sorry, insensitive, lame joke!).

A Few Quick Tricks With Pimples

2011
10.01

I thought I’d start out sharing a few quick “pimple tricks” with you.

Pimples and skin outbreaks in general occur due to several factors, amongst which are:

  • Development of bacteria
  • Hormonal / genetic and age factors
  • Dietary factors
  • Emotional / stress related factors

Dietary and stress factors are not to be poo-poohed or overlooked. Someone I know who suffers from eczema has reported that these 2 factors are both clearly responsible for setting off some of her attacks.

During complexion attack periods, the sebaceous glands tend to become congested and outbreaks occur on the skin surface level. One thing to remember is that some conventionally recommended medications  only tend to dry out the surface layer of skin over the pimples. That said, it is possible to apply a benzol peroxide acne medication directly to the pimple but avoid the surrounding area.

Also, an anti-bacterial concealer (oil free, and often the “green toned” one) can tend to effectively blend the pimple’s redness away into the surrounding akin area. Facial mud masks can also be applied with varying degrees of success.

One simple but generally overlooked recommendation is this: don’t “pop” your pimples; this can make their redness worse, exacerbate and prolong the whole issue, and, in the worst case scenario, sometimes even lead to a degree of long-term scarring or pock-marking.

Another little trick (for short-term outward effect, anyway) is to mix a crushed aspirin tablet with a little skin toner and apply it directly to the pimple itself with a Q-tip. This will tend to reduce both the swelling and redness.

In terms of short-term remedies using all-natural substances, a “mask” of oatmeal and water paste can be applied and left for 20 minutes to half an hour before gentle wash off (sops up excess oil).

In tandem with this, a paste composed of ground orange peel and water can also be applied to reduce the general inflammation of the skin and a “basil tea” (using 2.5 to 4 teaspoons of basil steeped in boiled water) can be applied (when cooler!) with cotton balls to reduce the redness.

All these measures are certainly handy when you’re “in a spot” (forgive pun), but ideally, what you want is to bring an end to the problem permanently by dealing with it at its base causal level. Some of my upcoming posts will deal with these approaches.

I wish you well – and luck(!) with all this.
